The NX350h doesn't shout for attention, and that's exactly the point. It's elegant, well-proportioned from every angle, and there's nothing about the silhouette that feels forced or over-styled. Lexus has clearly worked on getting the stance right rather than piling on visual noise.

Inside, the small, sleek gear knob is a lovely touch — it sits well in the hand and looks the part. The electronic door handles add to that tech-forward feel too.

A properly luxurious place to sit

Spend time inside and it's clear where Lexus has put the effort. The cabin feels genuinely luxurious, legroom and headroom are both good for front and rear passengers, and the NuLuxe synthetic leather upholstery holds up well while still feeling premium to the touch.

The 14-inch touchscreen is sharp and central to the experience, and the Lexus Premium 10-speaker system with a Pioneer amplifier rounds things out nicely — the sound is genuinely enjoyable, and it makes the drive better without needing to crank the volume.

Nice, not slow, not fast — just nice

The 0-100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds tells the story well: the acceleration is gradual, but don't mistake that for slow. It builds pace in a composed, confidence-inspiring way that suits how most owners will actually drive this car.

Sound insulation is good for the most part, though rev the engine hard and you'll hear the CVT drone come through — not a dealbreaker, just something to know if you like to push it occasionally. There's some body roll here and there through corners, which is expected of a car tuned this way, but the ride itself stays smooth and comfortable over most surfaces.

Steering is responsive, and the car is genuinely easy to control, handle, and park — helped along by the all-wheel drive underneath giving it a planted, secure feel regardless of conditions.

Built for the long drive

Being a self-charging hybrid means there's no plug to worry about — just drive it like a normal car and let the system manage itself. We saw 15 km/L during our media drive, which is a solid number for a 2.5L AWD SUV of this size.

With 520L of boot space and a ride this comfortable, the NX350h genuinely feels like it was built with road trips in mind. Good fuel efficiency plus a comfortable cabin is exactly the combination you want for a long haul up north.
