Introduction
When the Zeekr 009 Flagship was reviewed, it was clear Zeekr wasn't building another electric MPV — it was redefining what a luxury people mover could be. The Deluxe variant expands the lineup to three trims (Deluxe, Premium and Flagship), offering broader accessibility while retaining the brand's signature sophistication.
On paper, the Deluxe produces 250kW (335bhp) and 373Nm, delivering 0–100km/h in 7.9 seconds and a claimed WLTP range of 604km. Figures that sit comfortably in premium EV territory. But numbers aside, the real question: does the Deluxe still feel like a Zeekr flagship experience? Largely, yes.
Exterior Design
The front of the 009 Deluxe is unmistakable. The large, upright grille — finished in a glossy chrome-like treatment — gives it a stately presence. Unlike traditional MPVs that try to minimise their bulk, the 009 embraces it confidently. Slim claw-like LED headlight units integrate seamlessly into the upright fascia, leaning toward understated elegance rather than aggression — very much in line with its executive positioning.

From the side, the proportions are long and clean, with a strong beltline that enhances the executive silhouette. Despite its size, the design avoids feeling boxy — the large windows add a wide, airy quality that you appreciate from inside even more than out. At the rear, a full-width LED light bar creates a distinctive presence without unnecessary aggression.
Interior & Technology
Step inside and the 009 Deluxe immediately delivers on its luxury promise. The cabin is fully leather-wrapped, soft-touch materials extending across almost every surface. Ambient lighting runs throughout, creating a calm and upscale atmosphere at night. The centrepiece is a large, crisp infotainment display powered by Zeekr's intelligent assistant — sharp, fast and responsive. Rear passengers get their own 17-inch 3K OLED roof-mounted screen serving both second and third-row occupants with YouTube and streaming apps natively.

The 30-speaker Yamaha hi-fi system with headrest speakers delivers rich, immersive audio — especially impressive for long-distance drives where passengers want personal listening without disturbing others. Practical details include a hidden compartment under the central armrest, wireless charging with ventilation cooling, a chiller compartment, and a phone reminder system that alerts you if you leave your device behind.
Rear Cabin & Practicality
The Zeekr 009 Deluxe excels in second-row passenger comfort. The captain seats offer seat ventilation, five massage modes at three intensities, motorised footrests and retractable sunshades — designed for long-distance comfort, and they deliver. The cabin feels wide and open with excellent visibility. The third row is genuinely usable rather than an afterthought, making this a proper three-row luxury MPV for everyday family use.

The boot offers 574L for daily use, expanding to 2,979L with seats folded — though seats don't fold completely flat, limiting usability for very large items. One minor gripe: the boot closes slowly at around 10 seconds, noticeably sluggish relative to the overall premium experience.

Driving Experience
The single-motor FWD setup delivers smooth, comfortable progress prioritising refinement over performance. The 7.9-second century sprint is balanced — this is not a car you buy for driving excitement, and Zeekr doesn't pretend otherwise. At highway speeds, the 009 Deluxe is impressively hushed. The large battery keeps range anxiety well away at 604km WLTP, and DC fast charging at 150kW brings 10 to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.

Verdict
The 009 Deluxe successfully delivers the core Zeekr flagship experience at a more accessible price point. The 30-speaker Yamaha system, 17-inch OLED roof screen, massage captain seats and whisper-quiet cabin are all present. The single-motor configuration makes the 7.9-second sprint feel balanced rather than underwhelming — comfort and refinement are clearly the priority.
Minor irritations — the fiddly digital vents, the slow boot close, the slightly budget-feeling steering wheel controls — don't fundamentally undermine what is a genuinely impressive luxury MPV at a price point below the flagship. For buyers who want the 009 experience without the full flagship premium, the Deluxe makes a compelling case.
