Unveiling the Ride

The ORA 07 isn't just another EV — it's a bold new statement. This isn't your typical electric fastback. With a sleek silhouette, instant torque, and a futuristic cabin, this is where sporty style meets next-gen electric performance. Step inside, buckle up, and feel the future take over. ⚡

At first glance, the ORA 07's design feels reminiscent of a Porsche Panamera, blending a sweeping fastback profile with a wide, planted stance. Some angles even hint at the elegance of the rare Bugatti Galibier — fusing luxury cues with a fresh electric twist. It's sculpted, aerodynamic, and confidently unique.

Up front, the aggressive nose, sharp LED signatures, and flowing body lines make a strong first impression. Wide shoulders and a low-slung form aren't just for style — they enhance efficiency and road presence.

Along the sides, the ORA 07 keeps it dynamic and premium with flush door handles, bold alloys, and sleek blacked-out detailing. At the rear, a full-width lightbar and integrated active spoiler add a futuristic touch, wrapping up the silhouette in true grand tourer fashion.

Interior Impressions:

Slide into the ORA 07 and you're immediately welcomed by a cabin that feels as sporty as it looks. Bold orange accents light up the interior, giving it a vibrant, high-energy vibe that screams performance and fun.

Electronic, easy-entry adjustable synthetic leather seats make it effortless to find your perfect driving position — and it gets even better: both the driver and front passenger enjoy 5 massage functions, adding a touch of luxury to every drive.

Front and center, the ORA 07 features a canon-shaped triple display, giving the driver a race car-inspired cockpit feel with crisp, dynamic information split smartly across three digital screens. Everything you need is right where you want it — sporty, futuristic, and intuitive.

On the floating center console, you'll find three rotary knobs and toggle buttons for quick, tactile control of essentials like hazard lights, climate settings, and drive modes. No endless screen-tapping — just real-world usability combined with modern design.

The main touchscreen display is user-friendly and packed with playful animations, making tasks like adjusting the air-con, lighting, or drive modes fun and approachable, not boring.

The cabin experience is further elevated with an 11-speaker Infinity Premium Audio System, delivering crystal-clear, rich sound throughout the car. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity keep your smartphone essentials fully integrated, whether you're navigating or vibing to your playlist.

To set the mood, the ORA 07 offers an impressive 265-color ambient lighting system with multicolor rhythm modes, allowing you to customise your interior vibe with ease.

Essential controls are smartly placed too, with shortcut buttons on the steering wheel giving you quick access to volume, media, and cruise control settings — keeping you in command without distraction.

However, one downside worth mentioning: there's only one cup holder, which might feel a bit limiting if you're used to multiple options for drinks on the go.

In the rear, legroom is generous, though due to the sloping coupe silhouette, the sloping coupe silhouette might pose a little challenge for taller passengers. While it may feel a bit tight for three, it's more than enough for a cozy, enjoyable ride. Thanks to the well-tuned suspension, rear passengers didn't even complain about bumpy rides, making the ORA 07 not just sporty for the driver, but genuinely comfortable for everyone onboard.

Adding to the airy and spacious feel, the Panoramic Glass Roof brings in natural light and offers stunning views — perfect for those scenic drives or simply enjoying the sky above.

On Road Performance:

Driving the ORA 07 has been a smooth and composed experience. Thanks to the double-layer soundproof glass, the cabin remains impressively quiet, allowing me to enjoy the drive without the usual road noise distractions.

With an 83.5 kWh battery and a 570 km range (WLTP), I never had to worry about range anxiety. Charging is a breeze too, thanks to 11 kW AC and 88 kW DC fast charging, so I can quickly top it up and get back on the road.

In terms of performance, the 150 kW of power and 340 Nm of torque deliver a satisfying, responsive drive. It may not have the neck-snapping acceleration you'd expect from a performance car, but it's more than enough to keep things lively and fun for a car with such a sporty look. You still can be one of the first few to zoom off from the traffic light junction.

On the road, the light steering makes the ORA 07 easy to maneuver, offering great confidence in tight spots and smooth lane changes. However, I did feel that the steering response could be a little sharper for a more engaging driving experience. Also, considering this is a front-wheel drive version, I believe the car could benefit from an AWD version, which would likely improve traction and performance, especially in more demanding conditions. You also get 3 levels of regen braking level adjustments.

Another curious aspect of the ORA 07 is the augmented engine sounds onboard. These sounds create an intriguing effect during acceleration, adding an unexpected auditory layer to the drive. It's an odd choice for an electric vehicle, which, in my opinion, should be quiet and serene. These sounds might be better off without the added noise, allowing the car to maintain that peaceful, near-silent driving experience that most electric car enthusiasts appreciate.

And let's not forget the ORA 07's striking design. With its Panamera-like looks and an active rear spoiler, it's a car that not only drives smoothly but also attracts onlookers wherever you go. It's hard to ignore that sporty presence on the road.

In conclusion, the ORA 07 provides a balanced driving experience. It's not the most exhilarating car on the road, but it delivers a solid mix of performance, comfort, and efficiency — perfect for those who want a sporty electric car without the need for extreme thrills.

The Bottom Line:

The ORA 07 combines a sleek design, solid range, and a smooth driving experience. While not the most exhilarating EV out there, If you prioritize style, comfort, decent performance and a solid range in an EV, the ORA 07 offers excellent value. However, if performance and driving dynamics are top priorities, you might want to consider other options or wait for an AWD variant.
