Launch Of AVATR and AVATR 11
Avatr 11 Debuts in Singapore: China's Smart Luxury EV Hits the Road
Singapore's luxury EV scene welcomed a bold newcomer: China's upcoming premium electric brand Avatr, co-founded by Changan Auto, Huawei, and CATL, has officially launched its flagship model, the Avatr 11, in Singapore.
Launched in 2022 in China, Avatr was born from a strategic partnership that leverages the best of three worlds: Changan's automotive engineering, CATL's cutting-edge battery tech, and Huawei's AI and smart driving systems. After gaining momentum in its home market, the brand now sets its sights on Southeast Asia — with Singapore as the first international stop.

The Avatr 11 (one-one) makes an immediate impression with its futuristic design language. Its front fascia, inspired by butterfly wings, flows into a streamlined body with sculpted panels, high shoulder lines, and a dynamic stance. The rear features a deployable sail-style spoiler that adjusts with speed — not just for aerodynamics, but also sheer presence.

Step inside the Avatr 11, and you're greeted by a cabin that feels more like a premium-class lounge than a conventional SUV. Every surface is finished in premium materials, including full-grain semi-aniline leather that wraps around deeply contoured seats designed for long-haul comfort.
Both front and rear seats come equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Rear passengers are treated to VIP-level comfort with ergonomically designed seats that recline up to 40°, complete with an extended center armrest and an independent infotainment display for personalized entertainment.
Subtle ambient lighting adjusts to your heart rate and mood, enhancing the in-cabin experience, while acoustic insulation keeps noise levels to a whisper — measured at just 64.2 dB at 120 km/h. A Meridian-tuned premium sound system envelops the cabin in rich, immersive audio, turning every drive into a serene escape.

At the heart of the Avatr 11 is Huawei's HarmonyOS-powered cockpit, offering seamless connectivity, rich multimedia, and over-the-air updates that evolve the car's features over time. It also supports Huawei ADS 3.0, an advanced intelligent driving system that enables navigation-assisted driving, smart parking, and obstacle detection — even without high-definition maps.

The Avatr 11 is available in two configurations:
- Standard Range (RWD) – S$278,999
- Long Range (AWD) – S$303,999
These models feature either a 90 kWh or 116.kWh battery, with estimated ranges of up to 600 km on a single charge depending on configuration. Performance figures vary according to the variant but the ride is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.9 seconds — serious performance for an SUV in this segment.
Charging is quick, too, thanks to an 800V electrical system that supports up to 240 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30–80% charge in as little as 15 minutes.
🏎️ The Verdict
The Avatr 11 marks a bold statement in Singapore's smart luxury EV market. Whether it's the opulent cabin, AST-driven convenience, or ferocious dual-motor acceleration, this SUV delivers on both comfort and futuristic promise.
Looking forward: the brand plans additional models (Avatr 07, 06, MPVs) in the near future too.
